The Environment

Hamelin Paperbrands is dedicated to securing the sustainability of paper products for the benefit of future generations.

We source our raw materials responsibly and continuously strive to improve the environmental credentials of our products. Across our portfolio, we use recycled fibres where appropriate and ensure that virgin paper comes from a sustainable source.

Our exercise books

All paper used in our exercise books comes from sustainably managed forests. The manilla covers are made with 100% recycled fibre, the majority of which is post-consumer waste, and the printing inks used are solvent free.

Furthermore, the paper and covers are 100% recyclable, so please ‘close the loop’ and recycle your books after use.

The Eco-Schools Green Flag scheme encourages environmental issues to be covered on the school curriculum. Using Hamelin Paperbrands exercise books will show your pupils that you ‘practice what you teach’!
